Iain Grant is a long-exposure photographer currently residing in North London, UK.

The inspiration behind his photographic work is primarily born from a desire to simplify a scene into a minimal and often geometrical frame. Using long-exposure techniques and filtering in-camera, he transforms mundane, often unattractive and predominantly man-made sea-structures, capturing a beauty not immediately obvious to visitors.

His use of mono (black & white) is another conscious decision to remove any unnecessary distractions from the frame and focus the viewer on the ethereal tranquility of the scene.

His work explores the relationship between the static nature of inanimate structures and the passing of time of their surrounding elements.
